Inktober 2020: Feeling Different

October is usually filled with excitement, so much so that I can sometimes feel it emanating off of pumpkin and art filled Instagram feeds. This year feels more subdued.
That's understandable. After all, we are around month eight of a prolonged pandemic, which started in March. Feel free to check my math. The energy from everyone figuring out how to stay at home has worn off, and people are tired.
It's been interesting for me to observe that a lot of creatives found their productivity took a hit, while previously non-creatives produced artwork instead of doing their regular jobs. Ironically, I think I fall in between the two groups, as the pandemic entered Canada towards the end of my winter semester at college.
