My 2021 started off with bad news. I have to wait until September to resume my schooling. The news was not entirely unwelcome, due to the pandemic which started in Canada almost a year ago, however it still dealt quite the blow to my academic pride, confidence and increased my imposter syndrome. I got a bland production job where we get bonus pay based on our productivity and we are allowed to use headphones and listening devices.
I refuse to let this extra time go to waste, and have since increased my self-directed education through podcasts, books, and documentaries.
Without further ado, here are my 20 favourite podcasts to cycle through, which I have organized by category, not preference.

In The Dark
This is by no means an exhaustive summary of the shows I listen to, especially since I have to download the episodes I plan to listen to. I also have not gone through every episode of every show, just the ones that I feel in the moment would be helpful to me. The only exception would be In The Dark, a chronological, documentary-style podcast which I have listened to in its entirety.
I never thought that I would be a heavy podcast listener, but here we are. I love the mental stimulation they provide and they keep the boredom at bay.
